University observes Cyber Security Awareness Week

Mississippi State University's 5th-annual Cyber Security Awareness Week runs Tuesday through Friday this week as part of National Cyber Security Awareness Month.

During the week, students, faculty and staff will have opportunities to interact with information security experts to gain valuable information that can be used to protect themselves and raise their awareness of information security issues.

During these three days, Information Technology Services will host an information booth from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of Colvard Student Union, and guest speakers give presentations about cyber security topics of interest.

T-shirts will be given away at events while supplies last.
