Earlier this Summer I introduced you guys to Moonlight Serenade a new, at least to me, plus size lingerie website. ?Today I will be reviewing a chemise sent to me. ?FYI: ?The style that is shown in the pictures is not on the website. ?I am going to assume what I am reviewing was part of the Summer collection on the Moonlight Serenade website.
The Good
Much to my surprise when I went back to the website there was an expansion of styles as well as the addition of robes, which my wife?s loves?, being offered. ?The print is soft with a touch of sensuality. ?The overall construction is very good. ?I like how the portion of the garment that covers the breast area has an inner lining meaning it could be worn as a night gown as well as for more intimate times.
The designers at Moonlight Serenade obviously put a lot of thought into this garment which was very apparent in the stretchy material the shoulder straps were made from. ?The floral band across the front is a nice touch as well. ?Normally, my wife complains about any garment not made of cotton or a cotton-blend. ?This chemise is made from 100% polyester and according to my number one fit model was comfortable and made her feel sexy.
The Not So Good
Though there are a lot of things I like about the garment from Moonlight Serenade the one and only problem we had was how the garment held her breasts in. At a 42 G or H depending on the time of the year the chemise did not do the best job holding her breasts in place. ?For most of the evening wearing the garment she was shifting and when she bent over she was close to a wardrobe malfunction.
This maybe more a matter of personal taste but during our conversation about the garment we both came to the conclusion there should be one more inch of length added so the cheeks of her butt would not be so visible. ?Side Note: ?Showing some skin down their is really not a complaint on my part but I don?t have to wear lingerie either.
Few retailers carry apparel for plus size women that is fashionably classy, upscale, and elegant like Moonlight Serenade
Overall?
For the price, style, colors, and sizes which go up to 4x you will be?hard-pressed?to find a better collection of plus size lingerie anyplace. ?With no garment priced over $45 you can easily afford to buy a few pieces here and there to fill up your lingerie drawer. ?For those of you out there looking for a sexy choice for plus size lingerie be sure to bookmark the website. ?Moonlight serenade does a great job of showcasing classy, sexy sensual lingerie with curvy silhouette in mind.
