Senior Director of Marketing/Communications ? Salary Commensurate with Experience

Austin Children?s Shelter and?SafePlace?have entered into a strategic alliance and are hiring one Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to serve both agencies.

The Senior Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for ensuring a coherent, consistent and proactive marketing and communications plan is developed and implemented in support of the?Safe?Services Alliance, toward achieving its strategic directives and in support of its member agencies. ?Requirements: ?Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field; five to eight (5 to years? experience in communications and marketing, including experience in media relations and social media; proficiency in the use of a personal computer and in use of marketing and database software; must show demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for a diverse number of projects and assure their completion in a timely manner and with limited supervision; ability to analyze problems and devise effective solution based on sound judgment; demonstrated ability to supervise people effectively; ?and experience working in a non-profit organization is preferred.
