Same-Sex Marriage Legislation Passes Maryland Senate (ContributorNetwork)

The state senate passed the legislation, known as Civil Marriage Protection Act of 2012, by a 25 to 22 vote on Thursday night, according to the Washington Post. Governor Martin O'Malley has said he will sign it.
